According to DigiTimes, Apple is shipping 20 million phones for the first quarter Verizon launch.
I’ve been waiting to upgrade my iPhone for a year because AT&T has really bad service, bad connection issues, and terrible internet speed.
How much are you willing to pay to make this switch? ME? I would pay $500, but I feel like they should let me out of my contract with no questions asked. I believe AT&T are repeat offenders in NOT delivering what I paid for. Here are the top three repeat nightmares when it comes to AT&T’s service:
1. Stranded at Midnight on Halloween Night. The street party was packed and too many Halloween party animals caused AT&T’s service to jam. Long story short, I received 58 messages at 3 AM when I walked 2 miles to the nearest cab stand. Problem solved.. reception crystal clear.
2. Venture Capitalist Phone Call Dropped. I don’t know about you but when I have a VC decision maker on the phone, I need crystal clear service.. Instead, I got a bunch of “garbled” sounding, “What did you say?”.. ”I can’t hear you”.. Needless to say, I didn’t get funding for that project…
3. Mom and Dad drops in unexpectedly. Somehow, my mom and dad have become notorious for dropping in unannounced… or as we call it, didn’t you receive my text messages? YEAH I received them five seconds ago.. Well I sent them two days ago.. Well come in come in.. let me put on a pot of coffee and some underwear.
Now that Verizon is gearing up to launch as the new service provider for iPhone, how many users will make the switch during the first quarter of 2011?
ME!
