And 1 that I thought would take forever, but it’s going to be complete probably tomorrow…   why..

I had this project on the board that was posted to Elance, RentaCoder, Guru, and Another One I can’t remember on the top of my head – but every bid that came in was over $2,000 with a 2 to 3 month turnaround..

And the bidder’s design portfolio were all 1995 designs..  You know the ones where they use the old rectangle boxes as menus with the font overlapping the third menu box.. LOL

So I started Googling (cuz it’s fun..) and found oDesk.

oDesk. is my new highly recommended outsourcing place.  I had 4 bids within seconds of posting my new project.. I interviewed all of them with one person saying I have a team that can jump on this and finish in 4 days – no money upfront – only pay if we finish.

I thought..

No money upfront..

Only pay when finished..

I could search for 4 days and still not find anyone or I can choose this team and see what they can do.  And I’m glad I did.

The first day – 2 pages were designed and programmed.. And they were flawless!  I was impressed..

The second day – the next 2 pages were programmed..

And now, we have 2 or 3 pages to go.. and we’re done.. That’s unheard of..

I can now do 10 projects per month and get them done and move on!  That means more productivity, more money in my pocket, less headaches..

and big self esteem boost when people see how much I’m producing and creating in a little period of time..

So if you are tired of the same ole’, same ole’ freelancers, then maybe give oDesk. a shot.. You never know.

So my writer on Elance started getting sloppy on me..

Guess what I did?

That’s right.. I posted the NEW WRITER job this morning – received 5 bids today – selected a winner!  Someone who hands down knocks the competition out at a reasonable price.  I couldn’t have done that without oDesk.

So you see – it made my day.. so much so that I blogged about it.  Not only did I blog.. I’ve been singing about it!
