A couple of years ago, I attended Fort Worth’s Art Festival and saw a bunch of cool art that I desperately wanted. One was a huge “pop – art” piece of Clint Eastwood with real bullet holes and the other was a huge “Grand Canyon” scene. The problem that I have with art is knowing if it will look good in a certain place. The “Grand Canyon” artist said that he would come out and let us “borrow” it for a week. He’ll hang it – leave it for a week – and come back in a week to see if we like it. Good deal, eh? He’ll come out – hang it – no money out of our pocket – and we can see if we like the piece.
AND that’s what he did! As soon as he hung it, I knew it was a perfect fit. I said – you don’t even have to come back. I love it! I paid him immediately.
BUT what I loved about this transaction was how he swiped my credit card. He had a Cell Phone Credit Card Swiper! The swiper fit directly in the bottom of his cell phone. He got his cell phone out – swiped the card – and done. The money had transferred from my bank account to his in a matter of seconds and the transaction was settled.
