Hey! Another great week for online profits, and I’m starting to notice a new trend in website design and applications.
When Web 2.0 caught on, internet marketers went crazy.. how many products, books, membership sites, plugins, graphic software products can you come out with titled, “Get Rich with Web 2.0!”
Okay – so here’s my new theory about Web 3.0. I’ll be the second one to call it Web 3.0, because when web 2.0 caught on, everyone was “over it” and ready for 3.0.
Take a look at two different “new” looking sites:
and
The All New Clickbank.com
Notice the new “colors!” If you’ll recall one of the first signs that Web 2.0 had taken off was the now overused “reflection” against a black background, and if you’re using these colors, then it’s time to upgrade! I’m seeing more oranges, reds, and purples now against white backgrounds.. Don’t worry – it’s just a year or two before you’ll need to change ‘em again!
The second change I’m seeing is more interactive and user-friendly websites. I say “interactive loosely” because it’s more API and PHP work than anything. For example, more sites are going to be asking for your first name and asking you questions about problems that you need solved. Then, on the next page, the sales pages are going to fill up with the “solutions” to all of your problems. These “solutions” may appear just what the doctor ordered, but in fact, it’s marketing magic – the programmers took the answers and prepopulated the sales letter!
Ka-ching! (by the way – feel free to use this idea on your site!)
And the beauty of it all – you will be building relationships with your users. You’ll be able to solve their problems. If you haven’t seen the plugin that allows you to take what users type into the search engines and have only the POSTS appear that matches those terms, then go to your PLUGIN directory and search for “related posts”. It’ll be on the first page. Simply brilliant!
Right now, I’m at Clickbank.com checking out the overhaul! I love the 1.2 BILLION DOLLAR counter on the first page. Astonishing! Let me know what you think of Clickbank’s new site!

Hiya Kit
Possible to expand on “If you haven’t seen the plugin that allows you to take what users type into the search engines and have only the POSTS appear that matches those terms, then go to your PLUGIN directory and search for “related posts” for newcomers?
Is there a reason why you cannot name the plugin?
Thanks
Hi there!
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=search+engine+related+posts
Here’s a link to the plugins that take what people type in the search engines and it only shows your posts that matches their query. I didn’t name one particular one because there might be a better one out there.
I think it looks great. Much better than their old and bleak design. But wow, over 1 billion dollars paid out?
