When Twitter first jumped on the scene or exploded a year ago, marketers rushed to add followers and post links to everything from affiliate links to blog posts to “other” social networking sites.
For me – it’s no different. Take a look at my Tweets – and you can see different links and different formats. After using effectively for the past 6 months, I’m able to test traffic from Twitter using seven different “Tweet” formats.
Using this one strategy, I’m able to get my Twitter traffic up to 13% and my conversion up to 3 to 10%. That means that 13% of my traffic comes from Twitter using this one method and 3 to 10% buy something – THE SEARCH AND CONQUER METHOD.
Search - Let’s say you are a “juice distributor” or a “beauty consultant” or maybe you’re an affiliate selling computers. Well, people are asking questions to find the perfect product – which you’re going to lead them in the right direction and collect a commission when you pass GO!

Look at the first search results ..
I am shopping for a new computer.. where is the best place to get one! KA-CHING!
Right off the bat, it’s time to CONQUER and lead this new friend in the right direction. When you do it right, you’ll collect a commission and you’ll help lead this guy during his purchasing process.
