I subscribed to this 13 year old’s YouTube channel because I think it’s one of the funniest and coolest things I’ve seen online in a while.
This kid lives in New York, and visits the New York Apple Store (you can see it in the background). Well – he uses the Apple Store’s computer and records himself and then, uploads the video to YouTube.
If you look closely when you upload your videos on YouTube, you will see a RECORD FROM WEBCAM button on the right. Just press that, and you can upload videos directly to YouTube by recording them from your webcam.
So that’s what this kid does..
And he’s good!
When I see these success stories, I’m reminded of two things:

And that anyone can succeed if they just use the resources around them. When I taught 6th grade Science, I would often hear my students use excuses like, “they didn’t have any money for materials” or “I didn’t have time”.. Well I’m here to tell you – you can make time.. there are resources available everywhere (online training videos, books, courses, free videos) or just ask! People are very happy to help. That’s been my experience.
